The Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology (Boulder) works in partnership with CfAS to advance archaeological synthesis. To take advantage of new opportunities and manage growth in our programs, we are delighted to announce that Dr. Sarah Klassen, formerly of Leiden University and the University of Toronto, has joined CCSA as its first Assistant Director! Klassen will work closely with CCSA Director Scott Ortman and the CfAS leadership to promote archaeological synthesis to advance science and benefit society. Her first project will be to co-lead the working group on Urban Adaptation to Environmental Change, which is meeting next week at the Amerind Museum in Arizona. Welcome Sarah!
