The European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) held its 29th annual meeting in Belfast, Northern Ireland from 31 August to 2 September 2023. CfAS Partners and Associates were well represented with many Associates giving papers, the wealth inequality working group organizing a session, and CfAS holding a reception. More than 60 people attended the reception, which lasted well into the night. In addition to good food and drink, the assembled engaged in a wide-ranging group discussion of the importance of synthetic research, the status of a European Center to assist the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Boulder, Colorado, and upcoming opportunities to join CfAS working groups. Many of the attendees were new to CfAS, with about 25 deciding to become new Associates.
