Interest in Synthesis
I think one of our discipline’s major shortcomings is not leveraging pre-existing data.  This happens for a number of reasons but a major impediment in my experience is technological. Therefore, I am excited about CfAS creating opportunities to bring scholars together to discuss common struggles and participate in shared initiatives that can move our discipline forward.
Collaboration Interests
I am interested in human-environment interaction and how that has changed over time. I am also eager to explore opportunities that allow us to take advantage of digital resources to aggregate data at regional and inter-regional scales to investigate patterning in material culture across time and space.
