Alexandria Archive Institute/Open Context receives National Endowment for the Humanities Award

According to Dr. Leigh Lieberman, the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Alexandria Archive Institute/Open Context’s (AAI/OC) Institute, the National Endowment for the Humanities has approved an award of $240,312 to support their Institute for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities program entitled Networking Archaeological Data and Communities. The program will provide instruction for early career researchers, archaeologists from underrepresented communities, faculty, librarians, public archaeologists, and others with the intent to overcome obstacles to data literacy, facilitate intellectually and ethically robust data management, and create a network of colleagues and resources.
